Joel A. Richmond is a thoroughly experienced litigation attorney who devotes his practice to business litigation, insurance defense, professional and medical malpractice defense, general liability, personal injury, worker’s compensation and non-subscriber claims, trucking and construction litigation. Joel also provides corporate guidance and counsel to business entities and individuals.
Joel’s experience encompasses a wide array of industries, including insurance, health care, retail, transportation, construction, and manufacturing. Over his years of practice, he has worked with clients in a number of high-value legal matters, including having represented a commercial trucking entity in a high-profile case involving allegations of fraud and breach of contract and having advised international investors in the proposed acquisition of a reverse supply chain management and technology company. He has also represented clients in various disputes involving employer-employee relations, real estate, commercial and industrial construction projects, and general commercial matters.
Joel joined Stacy | Conder | Allen LLP in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Joel practiced law at a leading regional defense litigation firm. As a certified mediator, Joel has a proven record of resolving disputes both in and out of the courtroom. He prides himself on crafting legal strategies that will help clients resolve their matters in the manner that best aligns with their business goals.
Joel earned a J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2008, where he was a member of the Dean’s List. While studying law, he participated in the mock trial team and completed the Wettman Mediation Clinic. Following graduation, he helped found the DFW South Texas College of Law Alumni Association. Joel also holds a B.S. in Political Science and Business Administration from Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Texas A&M European Academy and served as a Board Member of the A&M Pre-Law Society.
