Dennis Conder has thirty years of courtroom trial experience yet he remains one of the most hands-on litigators at Stacy | Conder | Allen LLP, the firm he helped found. Stacy | Conder | Allen LLP has a full slate of attorneys trained to prepare cases for trial, but Dennis looks at every new file before handing anything off to a colleague. His clients rely on this exceptionally high degree of commitment and they aren’t surprised to hear from him daily during a case. It’s just one of many reasons that Dennis has clients who have stuck with him for more than twenty years now.
“Growing up in Bell County, I used to see all the local lawyers talking to each other at the coffee shop downtown, and then one summer I got a job as the bailiff at the courthouse. It was so interesting to see these lawyers arguing and doing battle in court, but then see that they were actually friends in chambers and outside of the courthouse. My dad’s best friend was a lawyer and then a judge, and he was like a second father to me. “When he told me I should go to law school, I listened and took his advice,” says Dennis Conder, founding partner of Stacy | Conder | Allen LLP. “I founded this firm to be a place where we practice law with integrity and values, and our clients appreciate that, and they know we’ll do a good job for them. We build good relationships within the firm too – we have a lot of stability and very little turnover.”
Dennis practices primarily insurance defense, representing insurance carriers and their insureds involved in litigation. Dennis defends his clients in cases involving claims of negligence, personal injury, insurance bad faith, transportation accidents, and defective products. A seasoned trial lawyer, he is admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
He was selected to the Texas Super Lawyers list published by Thomson Reuters for four consecutive years, and he holds the highest Martindale Hubbell rating AV Preeminent (5.0 out of 5.0) from his peers in the legal profession. Dennis is active in many professional associations including the Litigation Counsel of America, where he is a Fellow and a member of the LCA Trial Law Institute and LCA Diversity Law Institute, whose members are widely recognized as among the best trial lawyers in the bar.
Dennis earned his law degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
