Danah L. Woods is a tenacious litigator who focuses her practice on the defense of individuals and companies in general negligence, personal injury and property damage matters, premises liability, commercial transportation, insurance bad faith and coverage. She also represents insurance companies in first-party bad faith and coverage litigation and in analyzing third party claims.
Danah has gained years of substantial trial experience in both first-party and third-party insurance litigation from working in both private practice and as in-house counsel for a major insurance company. Her clients can attest to the fact that this diverse set of experiences allow her unique and valuable insight in navigating the complexities of insurance litigation.
Danah earned her Bachelor’s of Art degree from Texas A&M University in 1989 and, upon graduation, worked for a national insurance company as a claims adjuster, claims trainer and a claims manager. Her claims experience includes first-party and third party automobile personal injury claims, auto physical damage, auto total loss, auto total theft, auto diminished value and homeowner theft claims. Danah also acted as a corporate representative for national class action litigation and has testified in both state and federal courts. While working as a litigation claims manager, Danah earned her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) in 2005. Danah L.
